Select the audio region you want to reverse by clicking on it in the Garageband mix window.
Open the edit menu. Choose 'Add To Loop Library.' Enter a unique name for the region so you can easily find it in your loops folder. Click on 'Create.'

Press 'Apple A' to select the entire file (in Audacity). In the Effect menu, choose 'reverse.' Press the space bar to play back the reversed audio file. In the File menu, choose 'Export as .wav file,' and save the file with a new name onto your desktop.
Switch back to the Garageband application and simply drag and drop the reversed file onto the mix window. The file will now appear on a new track, ready for playback.

How to Use a Sony eBook Reader With a Mac
Use flash memory. The easiest and most reliable way to transfer files to and from the eReader is using memory cards. The eReader is powered by Sony's proprietary series of flash memory cards--the Memory Stick Duo. Using a card reader, files can be transferred from the Mac to the card and vice versa.
Connect with the USB cable. Regardless of the type of device, Macs can read any device with flash memory as an external hard drive. When bridged by USB cable, the Mac will treat the eReader as if it were a card reader, permitting the user to move files to and from the Memory Stick.
Utilize Boot Camp. Since 2005, Apple's MacBook and iMac computers have been equipped with Intel microprocessor chips--the same chips used in Windows-based PCs. The Macintosh operating system features an application called Boot Camp, which, when paired with the Intel processor, allows users to install Windows on their Macintosh computer and operate it. With Windows operating, install the Sony eReader software and use it to download and manage files.
Install Parallels. Parallels is an application which, when installed directly to a Mac, permits the user to run Windows and its applications as if it were just another Macintosh program. This can be installed and run concurrently with other Macintosh software without having to boot in a different mode. The eReader software can be run from Parallels.
Install Calibre. This open-source software is available for free from the developer's website. Calibre is a digital media management program that provides management of all digital files. What makes it attractive is its ability to convert files--PDF, HTML, Office documents-- nto the native file format of the eReader (*.lrf). Calibre cannot download new books from Sony, but it can assist with the backup and loading of non-eBook files to the unit.

How to Make Mashups Songs on an iPad (3 Steps)
Use the MiniMash application available on the App Store. MiniMash is one of the simpler applications to use in this genre. With MiniMash, you can pick songs directly from your iTunes account and then mash them together. Once you select a song, it must be analyzed by the application before you can begin mashing it. MiniMash synchronizes the beats of two songs automatically when they're loaded. It also helps match the pitch of both songs as well. This is an application designed for the average user and not for experienced mixers.
Download Touch DJ Evolution for your iPad and use it to make mashups. This application also makes it possible to automatically synchronize the beats of two songs. With this app, you have the option of handling the mixing process visually. You see detailed beat maps that help you customize the songs to your liking. With this app, you can use loops, effects and cue points to put your own spin on a song.
Utilize Nanostudio to mix your own songs. This software allows you to sample tracks that you have saved on your iPad. With this application, you can actually use a built-in synthesizer or plug your iPad into a keyboard to add your own musical effects. You can then edit the samples or the songs with the wave editor. This is a more advanced application that's designed for those who want to make custom songs.

How to Connect an Acer Monitor to a MacBook
Look at the ports on the left side of the MacBook and the back of the Acer monitor. A MacBook can be connected to an external monitor that has either a DVI or VGA port. The ports on the monitor will either be labeled or have a corresponding icon next to them. If you are unsure what an icon means, look in the 'Features' section of your user manual. Make sure your Acer monitor model has the correct port.
Plug one end of the connection cable into the monitor and the other end into the MacBook. If you are using a DVI cable connection, plug each end directly into each device. If you are using a VGA cable connection, you have to use the mini-DVI-to-VGA adapter that comes with your MacBook. Plug one end of the VGA cable into the VGA end of the adapter and insert the adapter DVI end into the laptop. Plug the other end of the VGA cable into the monitor.
Turn on both devices. After your MacBook powers up, it will automatically detect and display the desktop on both screens. Your Acer monitor is now ready for configuration.
Click on the 'Apple' icon on the top left corner of the desktop. From the drop-down list, select 'System Preferences' followed by 'Display.' A new 'Display' window will appear that has the available options that can be changed. For example, you can change the screen resolution of the Acer monitor, change the arrangement of the displays and whether you want to mirror the MacBook's display, or extend the desktop to the Acer monitor.
