Open a new Finder window by clicking on the icon in the Dock.

Highlight your AirPort wireless router from the list of available devices on the left side of the window. Then click on the 'Manual Setup' button at the bottom of the window.
Go to the 'Wireless' tab at the top of the window.
Enter a new password for your AirPort wireless network in the 'Wireless password' and 'Verify Password' fields.
Click on the 'Update' button at the bottom of the window to save the settings and change your AirPort password.

How to Ping a Printer for a Mac
Click the 'Finder' icon in the Dock at the bottom of the window.
Highlight 'Applications' from the 'Places' list on the left side of the 'Finder' window.
Open the 'Utilities' folder and then double-click the 'Terminal' icon. An empty command prompt window will appear.
Type 'ping' followed by a space and then the IP address of your network printer. For example, if your printer's IP address is 10.1.1.7, you would type 'ping 10.1.1.7' into the command prompt.
Hit 'Return' on your keyboard to run the command.
Wait for the ping results to start loading in the window and then hold down the 'Control' and 'C' keys to halt the 'ping' command. If the results say the device responded to the data bytes, it means your network printer is online and connected.

How to Transfer an iTunes Playlist to a MacBook
Insert the CD-ROM or USB flash drive into the computer that has the iTunes playlist and music that you want to transfer.
Find the music on the computer’s hard drive. On an Apple computer, the file will usually be in the home folder. Open that and then double-click on “Music,” “iTunes and “iTunes Music.” You will see folders with the titles of all the albums in that computer's copy of iTunes.Copy the albums that include audio from the desired playlist onto the disc or flash drive. Copy only albums that are not already on the MacBook.
Launch iTunes and click on the desired playlist. Drag down from “File” to “Library” and then click on “Export Playlist.” Select the “XML” format and export the playlist to your CD-ROM or flash drive. Eject the disc or disconnect and unplug the drive.
Turn on the MacBook if you haven’t already. Insert the disc or flash drive into it. Copy only the albums into the MacBook’s “iTunes Music” folder. Launch iTunes and drag from “File” to “Library” and then select “Import Playlist.” Select the playlist XML file on your disc or flash drive and open it.
The playlist and its content should now be on the MacBook.

How to Use a DVD
Open the DVD drive on your computer. You can see there is a small tray indentation for mini discs. Place the DVD-R 8cm onto the mini tray and close the drive. In a moment the content on the disc loads onto your screen.
Access content on the DVD whenever you want by clicking 'Start,' (My) 'Computer,' and double-click the DVD drive icon. This opens a window with all the programs and files currently stored on the disc. This is typically how you access video footage created with DVD video cameras.
Launch the DVD burning program on your computer. You can still use a DVD-R 8cm to create data and video DVDs, however you can only hold about a third of the actual data that a standard sized DVD can hold.
Eject the DVD from the computer by pressing the 'Eject' button. When the DVD tray opens remove the mini DVD from the computer.

How to Remove Windows XP Boot Camp From a Mac Book
Back up any important data from the Window XP partition.
Start up the computer in Mac OS X and log in. Quit any applications that open at startup.
Go to the “Applications” folder. Double-click on the “Utilities” folder and double-click on the “Boot Camp Assistant.”

How to Use a Touchpad on a Mac
Put one finger on the touchpad, and move it around to control the pointer on your screen. When you see the folder or icon you want to click, press the touchpad once. There are no buttons on the touchpad. The whole surface is a button.
Press the touchpad twice to double-click on an item.
Click an item with your thumb, and keep your thumb pressed down on the touchpad. Drag the item by using a finger to drag it to its new location.
Press the touchpad with two fingers to right-click on an item.
To browse through items in a window or on a webpage, move two fingers across the trackpad horizontally.
To scroll through windows and webpages vertically, move two fingers up and down on the trackpad
To rotate a picture, twist your thumb and forefinger clockwise, or counterclockwise, on the touchpad.
To zoom in on a picture, put your thumb and index finger together in the center of the trackpad. Then, spread your fingers apart.
To zoom out on a picture, put your thumb and index finger apart on the trackpad. Then, pinch your fingers together.
To reveal your desktop, place all four fingers on the trackpad and move them up.
To reveal all of the open windows on your laptop, place all four fingers on the touchpad and move them down.
To reveal the application switcher, place all four fingers on the touchpad and move them from left to right. Then, click on the icon of the application you want to go to.

How to Burn DVDs on a Macbook
Load a blank DVD-R into your MacBook's SuperDrive. If an onscreen prompt appears, set the 'Action' to 'Open Finder.' Click 'OK.'
Double-click on the disc icon on your desktop. A window for the DVD will open.
Drag the files and folders you want to burn to the DVD into the window. The files will appear as aliases, and the original files will not be altered.
Rename and organize the files as you would like them to appear on the DVD.
Go to the 'File' menu and select 'Burn Disc.' Confirm the action in the onscreen prompt. Burning will commence and an onscreen prompt will notify you when the DVD is ready.

How to Clean up Mac Trash Temp Files (3 Steps)
Two-finger click the trash icon in the dock on the Mac desktop. Another option is to double-click the trash icon to open the trash can window.

How to Erase an Activity From a MacBook

Open your Firefox browser. Click 'Tools' at the top of the screen and click 'Clear Recent History' from the drop-down menu. Click the drop-down list and change it from 'Last Hour' to 'Everything.' Click the 'Clear Now' button.
Click 'Firefox' at the top of the screen and click 'Preferences' from the drop-down menu. Click the 'Advanced' button and click the 'Clear Now' button located under the 'Offline Storage' section.
