How to Zoom With a MacBook Pro Trackpad (3 Steps)

Use two fingers to touch the trackpad. The MacBook Pro trackpad makes manipulating documents and applications easy, but three fingers and four fingers have other functions. To zoom in, you need only two fingers.
Zoom in on the current document by pinching outward on the trackpad with the either two fingers, or your thumb and forefinger. Zoom back out by pinching inward.
Modify your trackpad preferences if you find the trackpad too sensitive to your touch or not sensitive enough. Select 'System Preferences,' and then select 'Trackpad' from the Hardware options. Click the 'Point & Click' tab to modify the speed of response to your hand movements. Select 'Scroll & Zoom' to disable the zoom feature.

How to Remove the Casing From a Mac (9 Steps)

Locate the lever. On the Mac Pro, there is a lever that needs to be positioned correctly in order to remove the case. The lever is rectangular in shape, positioned vertically, and sits flush with the face of the back panel.
Flip the lever. Apply pressure on the top portion of the lever with your thumb. This will cause the bottom portion of the lever to pop outward from the case. Pull out on the bottom portion until you feel a light snap. This is a sign that the locking mechanism has been released. The lever should stay in the outward position that it is currently in.
Fold down the side panel. The removable side panel is located on the same side of the Mac Pro as the lever. You may have to lift the panel up slightly and pull outward to release it from the rest of the case. The side panel should now be completely free and positioned where you can easily lift it away from the rest of the case.

Backup the files created on the iPad daily by emailing files to a business or personal email to transfer to another computer or thumb drive. The iPad lacks USB ports and other connectivity to other computers or other external storage devices , making emailing files to other computers the fastest and most secure way to transfer files.

Create to-do lists and reminder post-its that can be displayed on the opening screen of the iPad. Use the Corkit program to create and save post-it notes as a jpg file. Use the Settings app on the iPad desktop to change the wallpaper daily to put up the new post-it screen.
Use the Safari app to conduct on-line research to include in press releases or articles.
Create a photo slide-show of writing clips and photography samples to quickly show potential clients samples of your work. Public relations writers can scan printed writing clips, press releases or other promotional materials to PDF or JPG. files and save to a desktop or laptop computer that has a copy of iTunes downloaded to it. Sync the iPad with iTunes on the desktop computer to transfer scanned files and photos to the iPad.
Use the Evernote app to enter and manage public relations and writing projects.
