Back up any important data from the Window XP partition.
Start up the computer in Mac OS X and log in. Quit any applications that open at startup.
Go to the “Applications” folder. Double-click on the “Utilities” folder and double-click on the “Boot Camp Assistant.”
Select “Restore the startup disk to a single volume” from the list of options. Click the “Continue” button to remove Windows XP from your MacBook.
