How to Read PDF Files In iBooks On Your iPad 2
Open iTunes on your computer and select 'File' followed by 'Add to Library.' A browser menu will appear that will allow you to select files on your computer.
Click the PDF file that you would like to view and then click 'Choose.'
Click 'Books' on your iTunes library menu. This will bring you to a list of all books that you have downloaded or imported into iTunes, including the one you just selected.
Right-click the book and select 'Get Info.' You will see a new set of options appear in a dialog box.
Set 'Media Kind' to 'Book' in the 'Options' tab of the dialog box. iBooks will require the imported PDF file to be in this format.
Add additional information about the PDF in the 'Info' tab. This is not required by iBooks, but it might make things more organized once it's imported to iBooks. You can add information such as the name of the author, genre and title. Click 'OK' when you are finished.
Click your iPad 2 under 'Devices' on the left pane in iTunes.
Click the 'Books' tab on the top menu.
Click the 'Sync' button in the lower right hand corner of the screen to import your books.
Tap the iBooks icon on your iPad, then tap the 'Collections' button. Tap the 'PDFs' entry on the pop-up menu that appears.
Tap the imported PDF's icon to open the PDF in iBooks on your iPad 2.

How to Make a Stylus
Select an ink pen and a stylus. The first thing you'll need to determine is if your stylus will fit inside the ink tube of the pen. Your best bet is a narrow stylus and a pen with a wide ink tube.
Take apart the pen. Remove all the internal components of the pen including the ink tube and any springs inside the pen.
Remove any appendages from the stylus. Many styluses have small adaptations which serve as a grip or a tab to help hold the stylus in the device. Cut these adaptations off to help the stylus fit inside the pen.
Drain the ink from the ink tube. You will want to make sure you have drained all of the ink to prevent dripping ink on your device's screen. To drain the ink, remove the pen point from the ink tube. After pouring out the ink, soak the tube in hot water to get rid of any remaining ink.
Insert the stylus into the ink tube. If it does not fit, try using an ink tube from a different pen.
Put the contents of the pen back together. Make several stylus pens to keep at work and around house so you'll always have one within reach.

How to Get Text Files on an iPad
Browse the App Store on your iPad and choose an app to use for your text-file needs. The iPad's native software supports viewing many types of text files, including plain text, rich text and Word documents. However, these files are read-only and have no folder-style file management to organize them. Look for an app that has folder management and iTunes file transfer support.
Download and install the app onto your iPad.
Plug your iPad's sync cable into the iPad and into the computer where the text files are stored.
Launch iTunes on the computer and wait for it to recognize your iPad.
Click your iPad under the 'Devices' menu in iTunes and then choose 'Apps' and move down until you see the file-sharing area on the screen.
Click the app you downloaded for your text files where it appears in the file-sharing area, not in the main app listings. A file area will appear next to it.
Drag and drop your text files into the file area in iTunes. Click 'Apply' and then 'Sync' -- or just 'Sync,' if that option is available -- after all files are in the sharing area. Allow your iPad to fully sync with the computer and then disconnect it and open your text-file app. Your text files will be stored within this app on the iPad.

How to Plug in a Microphone (5 Steps)
Locate the microphone jack on your computer. This jack is usually pink. If you do not find one, then you will need to add a sound card to enable this feature. You can find sound cards at many stores, including Best Buy. Refer to your owner's manual or computer manufacturer as to the sound card type you need.
Plug the microphone jack into the computer jack.
Turn on the microphone by using the on switch if the microphone has this.
Check to make sure the volume is up for the microphone in the computer. For Windows, this requires clicking the speaker icon near the system tray clock.
Start the software you have chosen and begin enjoying the features of your mini home studio.

How to Remove an Apple Mac Hard Drive (9 Steps)
Back up all of your data. Before attempting to remove your existing hard drive, it is essential to save all of your data.
Shut down your computer and let it cool for 30 minutes. You will not want to attempt to remove a hard drive that has been running because the internal components may be too hot to handle.
Unplug all cords from the laptop, including the power source.
Turn the computer upside down and lay it on the soft lint-free cloth.
Release the battery hatch by taking a coin and turning it counterclockwise. The battery should pop right out.
Touch the metal surface underneath the battery. This will discharge any static charge and is extremely important to do before proceeding.
Remove the three screws along the RAM door. These are located on north side of the RAM door.
Remove the RAM door, an L-shaped bracket, that you previously loosened.
Unroll the hard drive pull tab. You will see a white tab that looks like tape. Pull it slowly to remove the hard drive.
