How to Put a Screensaver Picture on a Mac
Open iPhoto and drag your pictures into the iPhoto library, in the top left corner of the window, if they are not there already.
Click on the '+' sign in the bottom right corner to create a new album. Name it 'Screensaver,' or something else you will remember.
Drag your pictures for the screensaver into the album you just created.
Select the 'Apple' menu (the menu that has an icon of an apple as its heading), and choose 'System Preferences.'
In the 'System Preferences' window that opens, click on 'Desktop & Screen Saver.'
Click on the 'Screensaver' tab at the top of the window that opens.
Cursor down the sidebar on the left until you see your screensaver album and click on it.
Click on the 'Options' button and make your selections for order, zoom and centering. Click 'OK' when done.
Use the slider to control when the screensaver comes on.
Click the red dot at the top left of the window to save your changes and close the window.
