How to Make Photo Slide Show Screensaver on Macbook Pro
Add photos to your iPhoto library by opening iPhoto and connecting your digital camera to your Macbook Pro. Click 'Import Photos,' and iPhoto will transfer the photos on your camera to a new album displayed to the left of the main screen.
Click 'New Album' at the bottom left of your screen and name the new album that appears in the album list. Click 'Library' to display all of the photos in your iPhoto library and drag the ones you wish to be part of your screensaver to the album you just created. Close iPhoto.
Open 'System Preferences' via the Apple menu. Click 'Desktop & Screensaver' and then select the 'Screensaver' tab at the top of the window.
Scroll down through the menu on the left side of the window until you see the album you created in iPhoto. Click it, and the display to the right will show a mock-up of the slide show as it will appear when your computer goes to sleep.
Select the options you wish via the drop-down and selector boxes beneath the display screen, and close system preferences. The next time your Macbook Pro goes to sleep, it will display a slide show of the photos you selected with the options you selected.
