How to Burn Photos to a CD on a Macbook Pro

Click on the desktop or in a folder on your MacBook Pro. Click 'File' from the MacBook Pro's Finder menu, and then click 'New Burn Folder.' A burn folder will be created on the desktop or in the folder you clicked in.
Drag photos from a folder on your MacBook into the Burn Folder. Aliases of the photos will appear in the Burn Folder, while the photos themselves will stay where they are. This lets you burn a CD of photos while keeping them in different folders on your MacBook's hard drive.
Double-click the Burn Folder to open it.
Click on the 'Burn' button at the top of the Burn Folder's window. Type a name for the CD at the prompt. Insert a blank CD into the MacBook Pro's optical drive.
Click 'Burn' to burn a CD of your photos that any recently made Mac or PC can read.

How to Make Photo Slide Show Screensaver on Macbook Pro

Add photos to your iPhoto library by opening iPhoto and connecting your digital camera to your Macbook Pro. Click 'Import Photos,' and iPhoto will transfer the photos on your camera to a new album displayed to the left of the main screen.
Click 'New Album' at the bottom left of your screen and name the new album that appears in the album list. Click 'Library' to display all of the photos in your iPhoto library and drag the ones you wish to be part of your screensaver to the album you just created. Close iPhoto.
Open 'System Preferences' via the Apple menu. Click 'Desktop & Screensaver' and then select the 'Screensaver' tab at the top of the window.
Scroll down through the menu on the left side of the window until you see the album you created in iPhoto. Click it, and the display to the right will show a mock-up of the slide show as it will appear when your computer goes to sleep.
Select the options you wish via the drop-down and selector boxes beneath the display screen, and close system preferences. The next time your Macbook Pro goes to sleep, it will display a slide show of the photos you selected with the options you selected.

How to Create a Desktop Slideshow in Mac OS X

Navigate to your root-level 'Library' folder and open the 'Desktop Pictures' folder. To get to the root-level folder, click on the image of your hard drive in the Finder, usually called 'Macintosh HD,' and click on 'Library.'
Create a new folder in the 'Desktop Pictures' folder and call it 'Desktop Slide Show.'
Select the photographs you want to use and copy them into the new folder created in the previous step. Use the 'Copy' and 'Paste' functions by right or control-clicking the image. If you just drag the photos, you'll end up moving them out from the original folder.
Open the 'System Preferences' by clicking on the Apple logo in the top left.
Select 'Desktop and Screen Saver' in the 'Personal' section of the System Preferences.
Click the 'Desktop' button to go to the Desktop Preferences screen.
Select 'Choose Folder' and navigate to the 'Desktop Pictures' folder you created earlier.
Click the 'Choose' button.
Click the 'Change Picture' checkbox on the bottom left of the 'Desktop' Preferences window.
Choose a duration from the drop-down box next to 'Change Picture.' You can select any duration from 5 seconds to every day, to when you log in or the computer wakes up.
Check the 'Random Order' checkbox if you want the photos in random order, otherwise uncheck it to leave the photos in order.
Quit System Preferences by hitting the Command (aka Apple) Key and Q.
