How to Restore Email Settings

Log into your email account using your user name or email address and your password.
Click 'Account' and then 'Settings,' or on some programs, click 'Settings.'
Scroll through the list of settings. At the bottom of the list of various settings, click 'Restore defaults' or 'Restore Factory Settings' if you see this option. This will restore the settings to the way they were when you first installed the program.
