How to Hook Up a Mac to an Overhead Projector

Connect the Mini-DVI cable to the Mini-DVI port of your Mac. This is usually located in the back of the computer.
Connect the VGA Adapter to the other end of the Mini-DVI cable.
Connect the cable to the port located on the back of the overhead projector and turn the projector on.
Change your Mac to display using the overhead projector. This is usually done by pressing F7 on your computer, however you should refer to your Macbook user guide for specific instructions should that not work.
