How to Find the Processor Speed on a Mac
Click on the Apple icon at the far left of your menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear.
Select 'About This Mac.' The 'About This Mac' dialog will open.
Locate the word 'Processor' in boldface under the 'Software Update' button. Your Mac's processor name and speed are listed next to it.
