How to Remove All Remembered Email Address Numbers From Popping Up

Open Internet Explorer and click on the 'Tools' button on the right-hand side, and then choose 'Internet Options' from the bottom of the list. Click on the 'Content' tab along the top and look for the 'Auto Complete' section. Click the 'Settings' button beside 'Auto Complete.' You can do a few different things from this screen. To remove all auto-fill data, simply click 'Delete AutoComplete History ... ' This will clear the forms and addresses, but IE will start recording again. Open Firefox and click 'Tools' in the menu bar and then choose 'Options.' Select a range -- 'last hour,' 'two hours,' 'today' or 'everything' -- from the drop-down menu. If you want to get rid of all form data, click 'everything,' since you may not know when you entered the information originally. Check the box beside 'Form & Search History' and then click the 'Clear Now' button. Select 'Use custom settings for History' in the Privacy window and then uncheck 'Remember search and form history' to prevent Firefox from recording in the future.
Open Google Chrome and then click tool button beside the address bar, which is indicated by a wrench icon. Select 'Options' from the tool menu to open Chrome's web-page options interface. Choose 'Under the Hood' from the left-hand navigation menu and then click the 'Clear browsing data ... ' button beside 'Privacy.' Check the box next to 'Clear saved Autofill form data' and then choose 'the beginning of time' for the time range from next to 'Obliterate the follow items from.' Click 'Clear browsing data' to accept these settings. Then click 'Personal Stuff' from the left-hand navigation pane and disable form autofill by removing the check mark from 'Enable Autofill to fill out Web forms in a single click.' How to Turn Off the iSight Light on an iMac

Close the iChat, iMovie and Photo Booth applications. If you don't see them open, search for them by typing in 'Photo Booth' (or the other applications) in the Finder at the top right of your screen, then opening the application.
Select 'Photo Booth' (or the other application names) from the menu that appears in the top left of your screen, then click 'Quit Photo Booth.' If you do this for all three applications, you should be able to turn off the iSight light.
Open your System Preferences folder by typing 'System Preferences' in the Finder menu. Select 'System Preferences' from the list of options that appear, then select 'Accounts' and 'Login Items.' View the list of items that are set to open upon Login. If Photo Booth, iMovie or iChat are on the list, deselect them by clicking the arrow next to the item. That may have been causing your iSight light to be on all the time.
Click the 'lock' item in the bottom left of the Accounts pane to save your changes, enter in your Mac username and password to confirm the changes, and click 'OK.' Your camera light should not turn on and be left on now, unless you open Photo Booth, iMovie or iChat.

How to Stop Computers From Sharing My Mac Folders

Click the 'Finder' icon located on your dock or click the 'Apple' icon at the top of your screen, followed by selecting 'System Preferences' from the drop-down menu. Click the 'Sharing' icon located under the 'Internet & Network' section. You can also access System Preferences by holding down 'Fn' and 'Control,' followed by tapping the 'F2' key once. Press the down arrow until you highlight System Preferences, and tap the 'Return' key once.
Uncheck the box next to File Sharing, located on the left side of the dialog box. You can also remove the shared folders by clicking the 'Subtract' button under the 'Shared Folders' section. When finished, click the left arrow in the upper left hand corner of the dialog box or click the red button.
Install and turn on your firewall application to prevent other users from attempting to access your computer. Firewall protection is available online as trial software or you can purchase it at computer retail stores. Most downloadable firewall protection is shareware, which means you'll need to purchase the program in order to access all of its features and continue using it without disruption. Leave your firewall on when using the Internet, as being on a wireless network with other users can leave your computer vulnerable to hackers.
Click the 'Finder' icon on your dock, followed by highlighting the folder you currently share by clicking the folder once. Hold and release the 'Command' and 'i' keys to access the 'Get Info' section. Uncheck the box next to 'Share Folder' and click the red button in the upper left hand corner of the dialog box.
