How to Install Time Machine on a MacBook Pro


Connect the external hard drive to the MacBook Pro using the appropriate USB or FireWire cable.
Click the 'Time Machine' icon in the Dock. The Time Machine icon looks like a blue-green clock with a white counter-clockwise arrow surrounding the hands of the clock.
Click the 'Set Up Time Machine' button on the pop-up window. The Time Machine window opens.
Click 'Choose Backup Disk' on the Time Machine window, then select the external hard drive.
Click the 'Use for Backup' button located on the bottom-right corner of the window. The 'OFF/ON' button under the Time Machine icon automatically switches to 'ON' and the backup starts automatically. A small pop-up window displays the progress of the backup. The length of time the backup takes depends on the amount of data on the hard drive. The pop-up window closes when the backup is complete.

How to Run Java Applets on an iPhone (3 Steps)


Tap the 'App Store' icon and select the 'Search' icon. Type 'Cloud Browse' in the search bar and press the blue 'Search' button. Select the 'Cloud Browse' application. Press the blue '$0.99' icon and then tap the green 'Install' button. The App Store will automatically download and install the Cloud Browse application on your iPhone.
Tap the 'Cloud Browse' icon.
Type the full website address for any site that contains a Java applet in the search bar of the Cloud Browse application. Press the blue 'Go' button. The Java applet will automatically load in the web page. If the Java applet is interactive, you can use the Applet as you normally would using a traditional computer.

How to Connect a Motorola S10


Turn off any other devices that you have previously paired with the headset. Leaving these devices active may prevent the headset from pairing properly with your computer. Press the S10-HD's power button in the center of the headset to turn on the device.
Check that the headset's status light is blue, indicating that the device is fully charged. If you need to charge the headset, connect one end of the S10-HD's USB cable to the port near the center of headset, and then connect the remaining end of the cable to one of the USB ports on the left side of the MacBook Pro.
Log into your MacBook Pro and find the Bluetooth icon on the right side of the menu bar. Click on the icon to open the 'Bluetooth' menu. Check that Bluetooth is on and the 'Discoverable' setting is enabled.
Select the 'Set Up Bluetooth Device...' option from the Bluetooth menu. This will open the 'Bluetooth Setub Assistant' window, displaying a list of any active Bluetooth devices that your MacBook Pro is able to detect. Select the SD10-HD from the list of devices. Click 'Continue' to pair the headset with your computer.
Click on the icon of an apple on the right side of the menu bar. Open the 'System Preferences' window and click on the icon labeled 'Sound.' Browse the settings labeled 'Output' and 'Input' and select the SD10-HD as the designated device on both screens. Put on the headphones and click on the volume slider to test the volume.

How to Play Wii on My Mac (3 Steps)


Place the Nintendo Wii next to the iMac 27 inch desktop. Plug the console connector at one end of the HD Wii cable into the A/V output on the back of the Wii. Plug the red, green and blue cables at the other end of the HD Wii cable into the red, green and blue connections of the DVI-to-Component cable.
Plug the DVI connector of the DVI-to-Component cable into the DVI connection on the DVI-to-Mini-DisplayPort cable. Plug the Mini-DisplayPort end of the DVI-to-Mini-DisplayPort cable into the Mini-DisplayPort connection on the back of the iMac.
Turn on the iMac. The computer components of the iMac will remain inactive due to the plug in the Mini-DisplayPort connection. Turn on the Wii. Watch the Wii’s startup screen appear on the iMac’s LCD screen.

How to Connect iPod Touch to a TV With Rocketfish Component AV Cable


Disconnect any cables that may be occupying the component ports on the back of your television.
Plug the iPod USB end of the Rocketfish component cables into the iPod cable port on the bottom of your iPod Touch.
Plug the red, blue and green video cables into the color-coded video ports on the back of your television. Plug the red and yellow audio cables into the color-coded audio ports on the back of your television.
Turn on your television. Select 'Component' from your television's input or source menu.
Turn on your iPod Touch. Select the photos and videos you wish to view on your screen from your iPod's menu.

Open Safari while connected to the Internet. If your Mac OS X is set to show application icons in a dock, click once on the icon that resembles a blue compass. If Safari is not in your dock, click on 'Finder,' then 'Applications,' then double-click on 'Safari.'
Click on 'Safari' in the top toolbar, which will bring up a drop-down menu. Select 'Preferences' from the menu. The default tab 'General' should be highlighted, but if not, click on 'General.'
Place your cursor in the box immediately to the right of 'Home Page:.' Type in the complete web address of the page you want to appear as your home page when you open Safari.
Close the Preferences menu by clicking the 'x' in the corner. Safari automatically saves your selection.
