How to Use the Mac Finder for a Quick Slideshow
Launch a Finder window on your Apple Macintosh Computer by clicking on the Finder icon in your Dock.
Navigate to the images you want to preview as a slideshow in your Mac's Finder.
Select all the images you want to view as a slideshow by holding down the Shift or the Command key while you click.
Right-click or Control-click to bring up the Action menu (also called a contextual menu).
Select 'Quick Look X Items' in Mac OSX Leopard (version 10.5), where 'X' is the number of items you selected. In Mac OSX Tiger (version 10.4), select 'Slideshow.' This will bring up a slideshow window where you can scroll through your images like any other slideshow.
Click the 'Play' button (arrow facing right) to play your slideshow automatically or use the right or left arrows to flip through your images manually.
Click the 'Index Sheet' button to tile all the images on your screen. You can click through to whichever image you want to view.
Click the 'Full Screen' button to make your slideshow take up your entire screen.
Click on the 'Add to iPhoto' button to add the current image of the slideshow to iPhoto quickly.
