How to Make Emoticons Bigger (4 Steps)

Enlarge an emoticon in Microsoft Word by scrolling to the section of text and highlighting it with the cursor. Right-click and select 'Font.' From the 'Font' window, choose the 'Size' menu and scroll to a larger number, such as going from 14 to 18.
Increase the size of an emoticon in Adobe Photoshop by opening a Photoshop file (text that has been flattened into a graphics file isn't able to be enlarged) and pulling down the 'Window' menu. Select 'Layers' to open the 'Layers' palette. Double-click the text layer with the emoticon, symbolized by a 'T' in a white square. The emoticon becomes highlighted. Use the text toolbar at the top of the screen to select a bigger font size for the emoticon, which changes on the screen.
Change emoticon size in Microsoft Publisher by navigating to the emoticon and clicking its text box; text in a Publisher document is always encased in text boxes. Highlight the emoticon within the text box. Click the 'Home' tab at the top of the screen. Pull down the text size menu and select a larger text size for the emoticon.
Resize an emoticon in Windows Paint by opening the software and clicking the text tool, which looks like an 'A' on the 'Tools' section of the ribbon. Click the document and select a font and text size for the emoticon. Type the emoticon. Highlight the emoticon and use the font size selection drop-down menu to make the emoticon bigger.

How to Fix MacBook Water Damage

Power off your MacBook as soon as it gets wet. If your MacBook was off when it got wet, do not power it back on. Powering the computer on can cause the water to short out some electrical components, and can cause permanent damage to the computer.
Remove the battery, and use a towel or other dry cloth to wipe off any water on the outside of your MacBook.
Fill an airtight container large enough to fit your laptop with dry, uncooked rice, then place your laptop in the container and seal it.
Leave your MacBook in the airtight container with rice for 24 hours. After 24 hours, if the computer still appears to have water in it, return the MacBook to the rice container for an additional 24 hours. If the computer appears to be dry, attempt to power it on.

How to Tell If Your Laptop Is Registered (4 Steps)

Locate your laptop's serial number. Most laptops have a serial number on the underside of the machine. A Dell laptop also has a 'service tag', which is useful in looking up purchase and warranty information.
Check the registration of your laptop at the manufacturer's website. This can often be done by entering the laptop serial number or service tag into an online form. Alternatively, you can call the laptop company, and check the registration of that particular machine.
Check the registration of the laptop's operating system. In Windows, this can be done by right-clicking on 'My Computer.' In Mac OS X, this can be done through the Apple menu (you can access the serial number in this way, as well). Often, this will not give you the exact identity of the owner or previous owners, but might give you some relevant information, such as a pseudonym.
Contact any institution under which the laptop may have been registered. For example, many universities and various governmental bodies require laptop registration. If your laptop appears to have been the property of such an institution, contact the relevant tech support staff to determine its registration information.

How to Design an iPhone Game (7 Steps)

Go to the Apple Developers website to confirm your computer and operating system are compatible with the development software. Read through the site to familiarize yourself with the Apple Developer Program. While the tools can be downloaded for free, you have to enroll in either the Standard Program or Enterprise Program to distribute your games through Apple's App Store. Both programs require a fee to join, but they provide the necessary development resources for testing and distribution.
Sign up to become a registered iPhone developer to proceed to download the tools.
Download the iPhone SDK (Software Development Kit) with Xcode IDE. The Apple site also has downloads available for the interface builder, compilers and shark analysis, as well as frameworks and samples.
Download the iPhone simulator. Use the iPhone simulator to test the program you are building on a virtual iPhone interface on your computer.
Familiarize yourself with Objective-C programming language. Prepare to do a lot of reading. While doing so, experiment with your development tools to understand the way things work.
Take extra care in debugging and error-proofing your software. Try to break your programs when you test them. Perform unusual game play. Touch screen game play, while principally similar to standard mouse game play, opens up possibilities for innovation as well as for critical errors. Not only is careful programming necessary, but seeking problems and conflicts trains you to think ahead and become a more efficient programmer.
Join forums and learn from your fellow developers. If you are stuck on a problem, seek the help of the iPhone programming community. Stay active in the forums to open possibilities that you have not previously considered. Keep at it and don't give up.
