How to Make Your Own iPod Touch Stylus Pen
Separate the metal snap fastener and set aside the socket component (with the depression on the face and rounded edges).
Tie several knots in the fishing line until a large knot is produced that is larger than the width of the sewing slot on the socket snap.
Thread the free end of the fishing line through the front of the socket snap so that the knot catches in the sewing slot.
Apply a dab of superglue to the knot to affix it to the metal fastener.
Twist the pen to disassemble the spring, ink reservoir and point.
Insert the free end of the fishing line through the ballpoint opening of the bottom pen cap and pull the line through until the socket snap reaches the pen tip (i.e., end of the cap).
Drape the free end of fishing line over the side of the pen cap and hold to secure (or tape in position). Trim extra line, if desired.
Reassemble the pen housing by twisting the bottom cap to the main body.
Hold the pen against on the touch screen of the iPod Touch with the socket snap touching the screen instead of your finger.

How to Choose the Right Apple iPad
Determine if you need the newest version or last year's model. Apple frequently sells a stripped-down version of the previous generation of iPad at a discount. If you do not need a great deal of storage and do not anticipate keeping your iPad for more than a few years, this is an excellent way to save a few dollars.
Choose how much memory you need. Apple iPads frequently come with different memory capacities, with larger iPads costing more. While more memory is better than less memory, it is possible to have more than you need. Business apps and electronic books usually do not consume a great deal of space and fit well in a 16 or 32 GB iPad. If you will be storing a lot of music or video on your tablet, the 64 GB version becomes more important.
Decide which type of network connectivity you need. The lower-priced iPads come with Wi-Fi capability that achieves fast connection speeds on any available Wi-Fi network. For those users who need to connect to the Internet even when they do not have access to a Wi-Fi network, Apple also makes iPads that connect to the cellular network. These iPads cost more money and require a data service plan to use the cellular feature, which carries a monthly fee. If you need this capability, choose the iPad that provides you with the best balance of cost and quality of service. As of August 2012, cellular-equipped iPads connect to either the AT&T or Verizon networks in the United States.
Choose a color. Apple makes iPads in any color you want -- as long as it is white or black. While black iPads have a sleek, businesslike appearance, some users feel that white iPads show fewer fingerprints and smudges. This is ultimately a matter of personal preference.

How to Make Emoticons Bigger (4 Steps)
Enlarge an emoticon in Microsoft Word by scrolling to the section of text and highlighting it with the cursor. Right-click and select 'Font.' From the 'Font' window, choose the 'Size' menu and scroll to a larger number, such as going from 14 to 18.
Increase the size of an emoticon in Adobe Photoshop by opening a Photoshop file (text that has been flattened into a graphics file isn't able to be enlarged) and pulling down the 'Window' menu. Select 'Layers' to open the 'Layers' palette. Double-click the text layer with the emoticon, symbolized by a 'T' in a white square. The emoticon becomes highlighted. Use the text toolbar at the top of the screen to select a bigger font size for the emoticon, which changes on the screen.
Change emoticon size in Microsoft Publisher by navigating to the emoticon and clicking its text box; text in a Publisher document is always encased in text boxes. Highlight the emoticon within the text box. Click the 'Home' tab at the top of the screen. Pull down the text size menu and select a larger text size for the emoticon.
Resize an emoticon in Windows Paint by opening the software and clicking the text tool, which looks like an 'A' on the 'Tools' section of the ribbon. Click the document and select a font and text size for the emoticon. Type the emoticon. Highlight the emoticon and use the font size selection drop-down menu to make the emoticon bigger.
