How to Play Video Back Wirelessly to a TV From a MacBook Pro

Plug one end of the Apple TV's HDMI cable into Apple TV. Plug the other end in the back of the television.
Turn on the television.
Select the wireless network the MacBook Pro is on and enter the password.
Open iTunes on both the TV and the MacBook Pro.
Click 'Advanced,' then 'Turn on Home Sharing' on Apple TV and the MacBook Pro.
Type your Apple ID and password in.
Click 'Create Home Share.' After it is finished, you can play any videos on the MacBook Pro from iTunes and they will appear on the television.
