How to Copy Paste From iBooks (8 Steps)


Access the book in the iBooks app for your iOS 7 mobile device.
Double-tap a word and then move the grab points to select the word or multiple words in a passage to select a region of the text. Choose the 'Copy' option in the bar that appears at the top of the selection. Alternatively, you can highlight the text by selecting the 'Highlight' option instead. Then, tap the 'Share' icon in the bar that appears and select 'Copy.'
Open the app that you want to use to paste the text.
Double-tap in the text area and select the 'Paste' option to paste the text.

My iPad Won't Read PDFs


Tap the 'App Store' icon on the home screen of the iPad. The icon is the letter 'A' with a circle around it. Tap the 'Search' box at the top of the screen and enter 'iBooks.'
Tap 'Download App.' The iTunes store login window will appear. Enter your iTunes store username and password and click 'Sign in.' The app will begin to download. It will install automatically after installation.
Tap the PDF file you wish to open, whether it's on the home screen of your iPad, on the Safari browser or through an email link. Select 'Open with iBooks.' The iBooks application will open and load the chosen PDF file. Swipe your finger to the right to advance to the next page of the PDF document, or to the left to read a previous page. Tap the magnifying glass to search for certain words.

How to Zoom on iBooks iPads (5 Steps)


Tap the iBooks icon on your iPad device.
Select the book you want to read by tapping the book. The book will automatically open to its current page.
Touch anywhere on the iBook's page with two fingers.
Slide your fingers apart while continuing to touch the iBook's page. As you slide your fingers apart, your iPad will zoom in to the page.
Remove your fingers from the iPad's screen once you have reached the desired zoom level.

How to Email a PDF to iBooks (7 Steps)


Launch your email client on your computer or navigate to your online email account login page and sign in.
Compose an email message and attach the PDF you want to add to iBooks to the message. Enter your email address in the 'To' field, and then click 'Send.'
Tap the 'Mail' application on the Home screen on your Apple device.
Scroll through the list of email messages and tap the one that has the PDF attached.
Scroll to the bottom of the message and tap the PDF attachment. The PDF opens on the screen.
Tap the 'Launcher' icon located at the top-right corner of the screen. The icon looks like an arrow coming out of a box.
Tap 'Open in iBooks.' The PDF document opens in the iBooks application.

How to Group an iBooks Library


Open the iBooks application on your iPhone, and tap the name of the current collection, which is located in the middle of the title bar at the top of the screen. The 'Collections' screen appears.
Touch 'New,' and type the name of your new group of books. You can create any name for your groups.
Tap 'Done' at the top right corner of the screen. The screen returns to your iBooks library.
Touch 'Edit' at the top left corner of the screen, then tap the books you want to put in your new group.
Tap 'Move' in the title bar at the top of the screen, and touch the name of your new group to place the books in that group.

How to Download eBooks to an iPad (4 Steps)


Tap the 'App Store' icon on your iPad's touch screen to open the App Store interface.
Tap the 'Free Apps' category and press the entry for 'iBooks' to download the eBook reader to the iPad.
Tap the 'iBooks' icon once the download is complete to display your 'Bookshelf.' Press the 'Store' button on the upper left side corner of the screen to open the iBookstore.
Tap a book you want to download and select a payment method. Tap 'Download' and it will appear on your 'Bookshelf' screen.
