My iPad Won't Read PDFs
Tap the 'App Store' icon on the home screen of the iPad. The icon is the letter 'A' with a circle around it. Tap the 'Search' box at the top of the screen and enter 'iBooks.'
Tap 'Download App.' The iTunes store login window will appear. Enter your iTunes store username and password and click 'Sign in.' The app will begin to download. It will install automatically after installation.
Tap the PDF file you wish to open, whether it's on the home screen of your iPad, on the Safari browser or through an email link. Select 'Open with iBooks.' The iBooks application will open and load the chosen PDF file. Swipe your finger to the right to advance to the next page of the PDF document, or to the left to read a previous page. Tap the magnifying glass to search for certain words.
