How to Use FaceTime

Tap the 'Phone' application from the home screen of your iOS device.
Tap 'Contacts' in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
Scroll through your list of contacts, then select the contact that you want to have a FaceTime chat with.
Tap the box labeled 'FaceTime' on the contact's screen. The FaceTime application will attempt to contact the other party. Your device rings while FaceTime is contacting the other iOS device. If the other person accepts the connection, your screen will show the other person's image. A small box also appears on the screen displaying the image the other person sees from your device.
Speak to your contact as normal while holding the device directly in front of you so that your contact can clearly see your image on their screen.
Tap the 'Camera' icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen to switch from the camera on the front of your device to the one on the back. Use this feature if you want to show the person you are speaking to an image on the other side of your device.
Tap the 'Mute' button on the bottom-left corner of the screen to prevent the other person from hearing you. Tap the button again to resume audio.
Tap the 'End' button at the bottom of the screen when you are ready to end the call.

Type the Restrictions passcode at the prompt. A list of apps and content categories appears.
Tap the On/Off option next to the name of an app that you want to unhide, such as the Safari Web browser, YouTube or the FaceTime video-conferencing app, to set it to 'on.' The app is now enabled, and its icon reappears on the iPhone's home screen.

For example, tap Music and Podcasts, and then tap the Explicit option to set it to 'on,' or tap Movies, and then tap the name of a rating to enable it. You can also tap Allow All Movies to enable and unhide all movie categories. Now when you browse and search for music in Apple's iTunes Store, you will be able to access material that falls under these categories.
