How to Get HTML5 on an iPad
Connect to the Internet via your iPad's Wi-Fi connection, which will perform better for app downloads and HTML5 streaming than a 3G connection.
Tap the 'App Store' icon on your iPad. Enter the name of the video website or service you are trying to access. For example, Netflix, Hulu and YouTube use Flash video on their computer-based sites, but you can download apps for each of these services that use HTML5 or other iPad-compatible formats. The apps are free, but Netflix and Hulu Plus (Hulu's iPad and computer premium service) both require paid subscriptions to their services.
Tap the app's 'Free' button, then tap 'Install' and enter your iTunes password to download the HTML5-friendly version of these services onto your iPad.
Connect to the services through the app instead of your web browser to view HTML5 versions of the videos.
Search for 'SkyFire browser' in the App Store if you want to download a browser that can convert some Web-based Flash to HTML5 for your iPad. This browser costs a small one-time fee, but it can convert some Flash content to HTML5 so your iPad can view it. This does not work for all content, so you cannot use it for Flash-heavy gaming or the Hulu website, but it can help you view animations in HTML5. Download and install this browser, and then use it as your iPad's Web browser when you want to view content in HTML5.

How to Operate a MacBook
Turn on your MacBook. Press the power button with the computer plugged in. This is not a step you have to take very often. The MacBook has a low power 'sleep' mode that is much more convenient than switching the computer off. Just close the lid of the computer when you're finished using it, and open the lid when you want to use it again.
Explore the main screen---called the Desktop or Finder---of the MacBook. Notice the menu bar at the top of the screen; this bar will contain the menus for whatever program you are currently using. It also has controls and information for common tasks, such as a battery meter, a volume control and a wireless Internet control.
Explore the 'Dock' area along the bottom of your screen. The Dock contains frequently used and currently active programs. To use a program, simply click on its icon in the Dock. Try opening iCal, the Mac calendar program. Notice that the menus on the top of the screen change and the name iCal appears on the left side of the menu. To quit a program, click and hold on its icon in the Dock until the 'Quit' option appears.
Customize your computer. Click on the apple at the far left of the menu bar and select 'System Preferences.' This is where you change any system setting you like. Explore the various options inside System Preferences. Don't worry---you will have to enter your password before it allows you to make any serious changes.
Explore your home folder. Click on the blue smiley face on the left side of the Dock, and your home folder will appear in a new Finder window. From here, you can access your photos, movies, music and documents.
Explore the Applications folder. Your MacBook has many more applications than are shown on the Dock. To access them, open a new finder window (the blue smiley face), and click on the 'Applications' icon on the left side of the window. Double-click a program to start it, or if you prefer, drag the icon to the Dock to make it a permanent fixture there.

How to Recover an Overwritten File on a Mac (4 Steps)
Open the folder where your overwritten or deleted file was located in the Finder. If it was on the Desktop, simply close all other windows.
Select 'Enter Time Machine' from the Time Machine (backwards-running clock) icon in the Applications folder. Alternatively, if you have the Time Machine icon in your dock, simply select that.
Click the up arrows or a point in time on the bars at the right to 'travel back in time' -- that is, to see how the folder looked in the past. Locate the file(s) or folder(s) you want to restore.
Click 'Restore.' If your file was deleted, it will be restored to your drive. If it was an older version, your Mac will ask you which version you want to keep -- the original (newer file), both files, or if you want to replace the original (newer file) with the older one. Make your decision and proceed.
