How to Remove Microsoft Office on a Mac


Open the folder that reads 'Hard Drive.' Click on the 'Applications' action that will be listed within the Hard Drive folder. Double-click on the 'Microsoft X' folder to make sure all of its contents are located in the correct folder. The Microsoft X folder should consist of 12 program subfolders.
Close the subfolder. Highlight the 'Microsoft X' folder. Drag this folder to the your computer's 'Trash' folder.
Click on the 'Hard Drive' folder again. Access the 'Users' subfolder and select 'Library.' Click on the 'Preferences' option within the Library folder. In the 'Preferences' folder, you will see another Microsoft folder. Highlight it and move all of the content files within the Microsoft folder to your computer's 'Trash' folder to remove its internal components.
Delete the Encourage Script Menu Items. Open the 'Documents' folder, which is located within the Hard Drive/Users folder. Select the Microsoft User Data folder and there should be approximately six files within this folder. Move the entire folder to your 'Trash' folder.
Empty the 'Trash' folder's contents. Click on the 'Finder' folder which can be accessed from your computer's desktop screen. Right-click on the 'Trash' folder. Select the 'Clear All Files' option to remove all of the contents in the folder from your hard drive.

How to Stream Flash to iPhone


Click on the Cydia icon on the jailbroken iPhone. Cydia is the jailbreak equivalent of the iPhone application store, where users can purchase and install a variety of mobile applications that were not approved by Apple. Cydia becomes instantly available when a phone is jailbroken.
Go to 'Manage' and 'Sources' within Cydia to edit the Source by adding http://repo.benm.at.
Search for the Frash application and install it on the jailbroken iPhone, just as you would any other mobile application. After Frash is installed, Flash will be available instantly on the iPhone device.

How to Get Rid of the Browsing Bar When I'm Watching Movies on Netflix


Open your Internet browser and visit Netflix.com.
Log in to your Netflix account. Click the 'Watch Instantly' tab.
Find the movie you want to watch and click the 'Play' button underneath its poster image.
Click on the 'View' menu at the top of your browser window. Mozilla Firefox users: Select 'Toolbars' and then uncheck 'Navigation Toolbar.' Safari users: Select 'Hide Toolbar.' Internet Explorer users: Turn off the browsing bar by clicking 'Tools' at the top of the screen, then selecting 'Toolbars' and then clicking the browsing bar.
Turn the toolbar back on after you are done watching the Netflix video to browse the Internet as normal.
You can also watch Netflix movies in full screen, which will eliminate any appearance of your browser's toolbar. To activate, simply click the 'Full Screen' button on the Netflix Video Player.

How to Set Parental Controls on Safari (9 Steps)


Go to your computer's System Preferences window and choose 'Accounts' from the available options.
Click on the padlock icon in the bottom left hand corner of the window in order to allow changes to your account.
Type in your administrator username and password in order to unlock your preferences.
Choose the account you would like to modify from the list of users and click on it. This will bring up a list of the programs on your computer that can be configured.
Put a check in the box next to the Safari icon.
Click on the 'Configure' button to the right of the icon and press 'OK' when asked if you want to open Safari.
Type in a Web address for a site that you want to allow your child to visit. Although it won't display the page, Safari will ask you if you want to add this page to your child's bookmarks bar.
Click on 'Add Web site' to set the link.
Repeat steps 7 and 8 for other Web sites you want your child to be able to access.

How to Connect an iPad to an External Hard Drive


Connect an external hard drive to your PC, and then right-click the Windows logo in the lower-left corner and choose “File Explorer” from the context menu.
Right-click the hard drive, listed under This PC, on Explorer’s left sidebar, and then choose “Properties,” followed by “Sharing” and “Advanced Sharing.” Check the “Share This Folder” check box. By default, this gives all of the PC’s users read-only access to the hard drive’s contents; if necessary, click “Permissions” to change these privileges.
Right-click the Windows logo again and choose “Control Panel.” Click “Network and Sharing Center,” followed by “Change Advanced Sharing Settings.” In the 'Guest or Public' section, enable “Turn On Network Discovery” and “Turn On File and Printer Sharing.” In the All Networks section, activate “Turn On Password-Protected Sharing,” and then click “Save Changes.”
Tap “Settings” on your iPad, followed by “Wi-Fi.” Make sure that the Wi-Fi switch is in the “On” position. Under 'Choose a Network,' select the Wi-Fi network that your computer is using.
Download and install the free FileExplorer app from the App Store (link in Resources). Tap the app to launch it.
Touch “+,” followed by “Windows.” Wait a few seconds for your computer’s name to display on the screen, under Network Neighborhood.
Tap your computer’s name, choose “Registered User” as a connection preference, type your PC login credentials, and then tap “OK.”
Touch your hard drive’s name in the next screen. Use the bottom icons to search, navigate, sort, create new folders or transfer files from the drive. Tap any file to view or play it within the app. Use the arrow icon on the upper right to open the file in another app, or delete, print or email it.

How to Switch Users in Mac OS Tiger


Click on the Apple icon in the Finder bar.
Scroll down to the 'Log Out' menu option. Notice it will also display the name of the user who is currently logged into Mac OS Tiger.
Wait for the user to completely log out. Once he has, the Mac OS Tiger welcome screen and login box will appear.
Switch users by entering your username and password into the login window and pressing the Return key. If the window appears to shake after trying to switch users, then you have entered an incorrect password and must reenter it.
Check the box that asks if you'd like to enable fast user switching.
Press the red jewel to close the Accounts registry and begin fast user switching.
