Can an iPad Read Out Loud? (6 Steps)
Tap the 'Settings' icon on your iPad's Home screen. Tap 'General' and then 'Accessibility.'
Tap 'VoiceOver' in the Vision section. Tap the button on the VoiceOver line to activate it -- the slider button should move across and its background should now be green. You'll also hear an audio message telling you that VoiceOver is on.
Tap 'VoiceOver Practice' to open a page where you can try out gestures. When you tap or swipe on the page, VoiceOver tells you how the gesture works. For example, one tap will select an item and two taps are the start and stop functions. If you tap an app or a button, VoiceOver tells you what it is; if you then tap it twice, it will open. You can find a full list of gestures in Apple's iPad User Guide. When you have tried this out, tap 'Done' and then double tap to return to the menu.
Tap the 'Speaking Rate' button to change the speed of speech, if you find the default rate too slow or too fast. Swipe up to increase speed or swipe down to decrease it. You can also activate or deactivate other VoiceOver features in this menu, such as Pitch Change, Sound Effects and Languages & Dialects.
Select and double tap the 'Rotor' button. You'll use the rotor to control and change settings as you navigate around your iPad. Tap on an item to select it and then double tap to add or remove it. If you don't want to make any changes at this stage, leave the default list as it is.
Press the 'Home' button to return to the Home screen. Open a Web page or an email to test the Rotor. It works like a dial: Put two fingers on the screen and rotate them to open it. Move your fingers in a circular motion to move through the settings. If you want to change a setting, swipe up or down.

How to Save an Animated GIF to Your iPhone
Open an animated GIF in a separate window by tapping the image. This step works the same way in Safari or Messages. To view download options for an email attachment, swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Tap “Share” in the menu bar and select “Save Image.” For email attachments, simply tap “Save Image.” Depending on your network speed and the file size, the download can take a few seconds to a minute or more.
Open Photos and select “Camera Roll.” The GIF animation is at the bottom of the Camera Roll album, and you can view it by tapping the thumbnail. However, Photos only displays the animation's first frame. If you don't need to view the animation on your iPhone, you can continue using Photos to manage your animated GIFs. They contain all the original animation's frames, and you can even view them as animated thumbnails or full-screen GIFs in Messages by adding them to text messages.

How to Download Attachments From Hotmail on iPhone
Open your Hotmail account by touching 'Mail' and selecting your Hotmail account. If you haven't yet added your Hotmail account to your iPhone, go to 'Settings,' then 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars.' Add your account by touching 'Add Account,' then 'Other' and entering your email address and password.
Select the email that has an attachment by looking for an email that has a paper clip icon beside the email subject, and touching it to open.
Swipe your finger upward to scroll to the bottom of the message, where you can see the attachment. Some attachments are located in the email body as a small icon, while other attachments simply show a stock icon for the specified attachment type.
Tap the attachment to open it. As of the time of publication, iPhones can support the following attachment types: .jpg, .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .pdf, .txt, .xls and .xlsx, which are some of the most commonly used attachment types. Tapping the attachment opens it fully in a new window.
Touch the outgoing message icon at the top of the screen to cause a menu to pop up from the bottom of the screen. The menu gives options for interacting with attachments, such as 'Open In,' 'Save to Phone' or 'Print.' Tap the option you'd like to use.
