How to Replace a MacBook Battery (5 Steps)

Turn your MacBook upside down, with the Apple logo facing downward. Check the bottom panel for a removable battery. If the bottom panel is a solid block, you have a 'uni-body' MacBook, and the battery can only be replaced by an Apple authorized service technician.
Purchase a replacement battery from an Apple Store, an Apple authorized reseller or a third-party manufacturer. Be certain to purchase a battery specific to your MacBook model. Batteries made for other MacBooks may not fit in the case or may supply the wrong amount of power.
Use a coin to turn the circular lock slot of the battery clockwise 90 degrees, or one-quarter turn. The battery will pop out slightly, allowing you to lift it by its case out of the battery well.
Insert the new battery in the same orientation that the original battery was placed, lining up its connector with the power jack in the MacBook.
Press the battery gently and turn the lock slot counterclockwise to lock the battery in position.

How to Add Macbook Memory

Shut down and unplug your MacBook.
Open the computer case by loosening and removing the eight small screws around the edge of the computer back.
Discharge any static electricity in your body by touching a piece of metal. Static charges can damage sensitive components inside your MacBook.
Locate the memory card(s) toward the right side of the back of the computer.
Remove memory card by pressing the levers on either side of the memory card(s).
Install new memory card by inserting it at an angle into the memory slot the same way you removed the old card. Apply steady, even pressure and do not force the device into place. Repeat the same process for the second memory slot.
Close the computer case by snapping the bottom plate into the same position it was when you removed it. Replace the screws and tighten them firmly.
Plug in and start up your MacBook. It is ready to use with its new memory.

How to Download Attachments From Hotmail on iPhone

Open your Hotmail account by touching 'Mail' and selecting your Hotmail account. If you haven't yet added your Hotmail account to your iPhone, go to 'Settings,' then 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars.' Add your account by touching 'Add Account,' then 'Other' and entering your email address and password.
Select the email that has an attachment by looking for an email that has a paper clip icon beside the email subject, and touching it to open.
Swipe your finger upward to scroll to the bottom of the message, where you can see the attachment. Some attachments are located in the email body as a small icon, while other attachments simply show a stock icon for the specified attachment type.
Tap the attachment to open it. As of the time of publication, iPhones can support the following attachment types: .jpg, .doc, .docx, .htm, .html, .pdf, .txt, .xls and .xlsx, which are some of the most commonly used attachment types. Tapping the attachment opens it fully in a new window.
Touch the outgoing message icon at the top of the screen to cause a menu to pop up from the bottom of the screen. The menu gives options for interacting with attachments, such as 'Open In,' 'Save to Phone' or 'Print.' Tap the option you'd like to use.
