Click the 'Apple' menu, then 'System Preferences.'
Click the 'Network' icon, then 'AirPort' in the side window. Click the '-' button to remove AirPort as the default connection method.
Enter your administrator password to confirm the removal and click 'OK.' Click the '+' button in the Network window and select 'AirPort' as the interface.
Click 'Create' to save the changes, then 'Turn AirPort On' to activate the network utility. Select your network's name from the Network Name menu.
