How to Connect a MacBook to a TV Monitor

Connect a DVI cable from your Macbook to your TV. If your TV does not have a DVI port, then use a converter cable to convert DVI to S-Video.
Turn on the TV.
Click the Apple logo on the task bar and click 'System Preferences.'
Click 'Displays.' Click 'Detect Displays.'
Click the TV display and then adjust the 'Resolution' to the highest possible setting. If you are connecting to a high-definition TV, then you are likely to get the best resolution. You have now connected your MacBook to a TV.

How to Make PDF Files in Macbook Pro

Click the 'Dock' icon of the application you want to use to create a PDF. Any OS X application that displays images and text, such as web browsers and word processors, offers the option to create a PDF from the File menu.
Click 'File' in the task bar at the top of the screen. Click 'Print' at the bottom of the drop-down File menu. A Print Preview dialogue box appears.
Click the arrow box to the right of the 'Printer' drop-down menu to expand the Print Preview screen. Ensure that the page you're printing looks correct in the Print Preview window.
Click 'PDF' at the bottom of the dialogue box and choose one of the options from the drop-down menu. Click 'Save as PDF' to save a copy of the file on your hard drive or click 'Mail PDF' to send the file as an attachment in an email.
Type in a name for the file and click 'Save' to copy the file to your hard drive. Click 'Cancel' in the Print dialogue box to cancel printing or click 'Print' to print the page.
