How to Control the Backlight on an iPad (6 Steps)
Tap the 'Settings' icon on the iPad's home screen. Select 'Wallpapers & Brightness.'
Slide the 'Auto-Brightness' switch to 'Off.'
Drag the slider left to dim the screen's brightness. Drag the slider right to brighten the screen.
