How to Export a PowerPoint to Keynote
Launch Keynote on your Mac. Click the 'File' menu and select 'Open' from the drop-down menu.
Select the 'On My Mac' button and browse to the PowerPoint file you want to open. Select the file and click the 'Open' button. A progress bar displays while Keynote processes the file.
Review the information in the Warnings dialog box if it appears. It will list any incompatibilities encountered or substitutions made when Keynote converted the file. Check the list of warnings and review any changes to the slides identified in the Warnings dialog. You may need to adjust bullet points, add any removed audio files or accept any substitute fonts. In some cases, no Warning dialog box appears, because no substitutions were made or incompatibilities were noted.
Run the presentation and watch closely for any variances between the Keynote presentation and the original PowerPoint presentation. If you see any, make adjustments to the individual slides affected. Edit the presentation as needed and save it.

How to Delete iPhone Crash Logs
Tap “Settings” on your iPhone, followed by “General.” Next, choose “About,” followed by “Diagnostics & Usage” and “Diagnostic & Usage Data.” Observe the list of crash, usage and diagnostic reports logged on your device. If you wish to review the detail of an individual item, tap it.
Launch iTunes on your computer. Next, connect your iPhone using its supplied USB cable. Choose your iPhone’s name under Devices in the left sidebar.
Click “Sync” in the lower right corner of your desktop’s screen. The sync process begins and advances through several steps. You can check its progress in the area above the main pane’s navigation bar.
Return to Diagnostics & Usage Data screen on your iPhone. You’ll see that most, if not all, the previously logged items no longer appear, having been copied to your computer and erased from your device during the sync.

How to Replace the Hard Drive on an Aluminum Macbook Pro
Shut down the MacBook Pro and disconnect all cables and devices. Allow the computer to cool for 10 minutes before moving to the next step.
Remove the 10 screws that secure the bottom case. The short screws must be removed at an angle. To view the angles, review Page 38 of the MacBook Pro manual (see Resources). Tape each screw to a piece of paper that indicates their original position in the computer case. Lift the case off and put it out of the way.
Touch your finger to a metal surface on the computer’s interior to discharge static electricity that may be present in your body.
Remove the two screws that hold down the bracket that holds the hard drive in place. Tape the bracket and the screws to the second sheet of paper.
Pull up on the tab coming from under the hard drive to lift it from the drive bay. Use a gentle, steady motion.
Disconnect the connector from the drive by pulling the connector as you grip the drive on the left side.
Remove the mounting screws from this disk drive if the replacement drive does not include them. Insert the mounting screws on the replacement hard drive.
Push the hard drive connector into the replacement drive on the left side.
Lower the replacement hard drive into the hard drive bay, copying the angle at which you removed the old hard drive.
Place the bracket over the hard drive and use the screws to secure it.
Position the lower case on the computer and replace the screws, using their alignment on the paper to find the correct location.
Press the Power button and allow the MacBook Pro to start up.

How to Develop an App for the iPad
Read the Apple iOS Application Programming Guide to get an understanding of the iOS architecture and the basics for developing an app. This guide is helpful for developing apps for both the iPhone and iPad.
Review the benefits of joining the Apple iOS Developer Program. You will get access to tutorials, sample code, a free copy of the Apple iOS 4 SDK and other benefits. You will also be able to upload your app to the Apple App Store. The program cost is $99 per year as of April 2011.
Download the Apple iOS 4 SDK from the Apple App Store. At the time of publication, the cost is $4.99 and requires Mac OS X version 10.6.6 or later. The SDK is not available for Windows.
Learn iOS programming by taking a course, enrolling in a workshop or studying books. Materials on developing apps for the iPhone may also be helpful. Skills that you acquire developing apps for the iPhone will help you develop an iPad app because both devices use the same operating system and developer tools.
