How to Set Up an iSight Camera With iGlasses
Download and install iGlasses (see link in Resources below). During the installation you can choose which applications you want to use iGlasses with. Select iChat and any other applications you may use with the iSight built-in Camera. When you launch iChat, the iGlasses application will automatically open. You can select the iGlasses control panel under the iChat VIDEO tab.
Select standard or another preset mode to work on. Explore the presets. You can choose bright, extra bright, sepia and many other presets and adjust them to your preference and lighting, then select the area you want to adjust. You can adjust exposure, color and many other image characteristics.
Most of us use our cameras from our work or home office, which usually has mixed low-level lighting. The image was too dark so I selected the super bright exposure. Now the image is perhaps too light, but I can easily adjust it with the slider. This enables you to have iChat conversations where everyone can actually see one another.
You can also zoom, pan and rotate the camera. This helps eliminate distractions during iChat conversations. No more dogs and cats walking in the background. It forces your iChat attendees to focus on you instead of what is moving in the background. This is especially useful for business conversations and training courses.
The iGlasses application has a lot of settings and adjustments. You can adjust the white balance, hue, shadows, saturation and much more. Experiment with all the settings. Once you have the settings the way you want them, SAVE them as a CUSTOM PRESET. Next time you open IChat, just select your saved preset and you are ready to go.

How to Calibrate Your MacBook Battery (4 Steps)
Plug in your MacBook and give it a full charge. You can tell if your MacBook is fully charged when the green LED light on your power adapter changes from amber to green. When the LED is Green, your battery is at full charge. Leave the MacBook plugged in and charging for an extra two hours past the point when the LED turns Green.
Run your battery down and discharge it completely. Disconnect the power adapter and use your Mac until the battery is fully discharged. You will see a low battery warning on your screen, but keep using your MacBook until the battery completely runs out and the machine puts itself to sleep.
Close the laptop lid and let your Mac sleep, without power connected, for at least 5 hours. Letting your MacBook rest overnight is a good rule of thumb.
After letting the computer rest for 5 hours or longer, plug in your MacBook to the power supply and leave it connected until the computer is fully charged. It’s OK to use your MacBook while the battery charges. When the charge is completed, you’ve successfully completed recalibration of your MacBook battery.

How to Decide Between the Kindle and iPad (4 Steps)
Consider what you want to do with your device. If all you want to do with your device is to read newspapers, magazines and ebooks, then the Kindle is probably the right choice. If you want additional functionality beyond an e-reader, then you might consider springing a few hundred dollars extra for the iPad.
Decide how much memory you need in your device. The iPad has much more room to store data, if you plan to use the device for more than just reading.
Decide if you want a color or black and white screen. If you are only going to read on the device, black and white may be all you need. The iPad has a color screen, the Kindle has only black and white.
Review additional costs. The Kindle requires no additional service charges. The only additional fees are for downloads. The iPad can work in most locations if you upgrade to a data service plan with AT&T.
