How Do I Know If My Mac Has AppleCare?

Point your browser to the AppleCare Agreement Support website (http://www.apple.com/support/applecare/welcome/).
Click 'Check Coverage' underneath 'Check Your Service and Support Coverage.'
Enter the serial number for your Apple product. You can usually find this number somewhere on the surface of your device or in the 'About this Mac' window, which can be opened by clicking the apple in the top left-hand corner of your screen. This information may also be on the product receipt or packaging.
Hit the 'Enter' button to find out if you currently have coverage. If so, you will see all green checkmarks on the next screen and a message that states, 'Your product is eligible for hardware repairs and service under the AppleCare protection plan.
