How Do I Hook My Mac to My Mixer Board?

Connect the mixer board to other instruments, microphones or sources you want to use in the recoding. Connect the power source to the mixer. Connect the amplifier and speakers to the mixer board as well.
Connect the small end of the 3.5mm-to-RCA cable to the line-out jack on the back of the Mac computer or on the side if a MacBook. On many Macs, the line-out port has a green ring around it and might be the connection used for your computer speakers if you are using a desktop computer. Other Macs have a headphone or audio-wave symbol next to the port to differentiate it from line-in or microphone ports. Disconnect the speakers from your computer if the port is already in use.
Connect the other end of the audio cable to the RCA line-in or auxiliary jacks on the mixer. If the mixer does not have RCA ports, use an RCA-to-1/4-inch adapter to connect the Mac to the mixer board.
Open an audio or music player application on the Mac. Load an audio file into the player, then click 'Play.' You should be able to hear the sound on the external speakers connected to the amplifier plugged into the mixer board.

How to Charge My Mac Laptop Overseas (3 Steps)

Slide the male plug end of your Mac laptop AC power cord into the foreign adapter plug. The male end of a plug is the one with the prongs. Because the entire line of portable Macintosh devices includes an AC adapter that is dual-voltage ready, you will not need to use a converter.
Plug the power adapter into the Mac laptop.
Plug the male end of the foreign adapter plug into the wall outlet. The computer will now register that the battery is charging.

How to Connect a Mac Computer to the Internet

Sign up for service with an Internet Service Provider, such as your local cable or phone company. It will charge you a monthly fee for this and will probably provide the cable modem (router) or DSL hardware that you need.
Connect your cable modem to your coaxial cable jack in your home or connect your DSL to your phone line. If you are using DSL, attach filters to every phone that is on a jack. These would have been provided with your modem by your ISP.
Connect the modem to the Ethernet port on your Mac using an Ethernet cable. Then turn on the modem if it isn't already on.
Click the Apple Menu and choose 'System Preferences' and then 'Network.' Under 'Show,' choose 'Built In Ethernet' from the drop-down box.
Click the 'TCP/IP' tab and under 'Configure IPV4' choose 'DHCP.'
Click 'Apply Now' at the bottom of the dialog box. This is usually all you have to do to get connected to the Internet on a Mac.

How to View Running Processes on Mac OS X (4 Steps)

Click the “Applications” folder if it’s pinned to your Dock, scroll down and select the “Utilities” folder and then click “Activity Monitor” to launch Activity Monitor. Alternatively, you can also open Activity Monitor by searching for “Activity Monitor” in the Search field on the Launchpad and then selecting “Activity Monitor” from the search results.
Scroll through the processes listed in the Process Name column on the far left side of Activity Monitor. Each process currently running on your computer appears on its own line in this column. Follow along the row to the right of the process name to read its statistics.
Click the name of a process and then click the “i” icon located above the Process Name column. Clicking this icon displays a brief snapshot of information about the selected process, including how much CPU and memory it’s using, how long it has been active and which files and ports it’s using.
Select a tab along the top of the Activity Monitor window to view how processes are using resources on your Mac. Available tabs in OS X Mavericks include CPU, Memory, Energy, Disk and Network. Each tab then has an associated list of sub-sections that help you to further drill down into process resource usage.

How to Connect the AC Adapter for a MacBook Pro

Align the smaller end of the MacBook Pro's MagSafe AC adapter with the plug on the upper left corner of the laptop. The connector has a set of five copper pins that match up with five holes in the plug.
Let go of the connector so that it 'drops' into place. Unlike other AC adapters, the MagSafe adapter has a magnetic edge that forms a connection with the AC port on the MacBook Pro. You don't need to push the MagSafe adapter in. As long as you line it up with the plug it should attach to the computer by itself.Apple designed the MagSafe adapter this way to protect your laptop in the event someone trips over the cord. If you pull on the power cord too much it will disconnect from your MacBook Pro. Other AC adapters can pull on laptops and drag them to the floor.
Plug the power brick on the other end of the AC adapter into an electrical outlet. Pull out the two white prongs on the back end of the power brick and wrap any excess cable around them if you so desire.
Install the extension cable that came with your MacBook Pro if the cable is too short. Unplug the MagSafe adapter from the wall. Grip the two-pronged metal plug on the front of the power brick and pull upward to remove it. The MagSafe adapter has a removable plug so that you can install a variety of adapters. Replace the plug with the three-pronged extension cable. Simply insert it where the two-pronged plug was and push down. Plug the three-pronged end of the extension cable into the wall.
Grip the MagSafe connector and wobble it left, right, up or down to unplug it from your MacBook Pro. Do not pull on the cable or pull the connector straight out as this places more wear and tear on the device.
