How to Set Up a Mac on a Windows Domain
Open the 'Directory Utility' tool. Switch to 'Finder' and navigate into the 'Applications' folder, followed by the 'Utilities folder', and run the 'Directory Utility.' Snow Leopard users (10.6) can either navigate to the 'System' folder, then the 'Library' folder, followed by the 'CoreServices' folder or find the 'Directory Utility' in the 'Accounts' preferences section of the 'System Preferences' available from the 'Apple' menu.
Enable Active Directory. If the lock icon is closed, authenticate with an administrative account to continue. Click the 'Services' button at the top of the window. If the 'Services' button is not visible, click the 'Show Advanced Settings' button at the bottom-right of the window. In the list of services, make sure the 'Active Directory' checkbox is checked.
Configure the domain connection. Enter the domain name in the 'Active Directory Domain' field. To configure advanced options, click 'Show Advanced Options.' Modifying these settings is optional and can include creating mobile accounts, configuring the user home directory, GID mapping and authentication preferences.
Configure mobile account settings (optional). A mobile account will allow the user to log into his account even when the computer is not connected to the network. This setting is primarily intended for users with laptop computers. To enable mobile accounts, click the 'Show Advanced Options' button and enable the 'Create mobile account at login' option in the 'User Experience' section.
Bind the Mac to the Active Directory Domain. Click the 'Bind' button. In the window that appears, enter a username and password that has permission to bind computers to the domain. Enter the organizational unit of the computer in the 'Computer OU' field. The other two checkboxes are optional and used to add the Active Directory to the authentication and contacts search policies respectively.

How to Bypass MacBook Passwords
Determine how many administrator and user accounts are on the MacBook. If the computer is booted up, select 'System Preferences' from under the apple in the upper left corner of the screen and click on 'Accounts.' Note that you really only need to bypass the administrator password, as standard user accounts are all controlled by the administrator. If you are unable to boot the computer due to a password, proceed to Step 2.
Insert a Mac OS X installation disc into your MacBook's drive. Select 'Restart' from under the apple in the upper left corner of the screen. When the computer begins the boot process (as soon as the screen becomes active), hold down the 'C' key until you see the spinning wheel on the screen.

Click on the arrow in the lower right corner of the window to proceed. (Note that the startup process takes longer when you're booting off an installation disc.) When the menus appear at the top of the screen, select 'Reset Password' from under the 'Utilities' menu.
Select the account whose passwords you want to bypass. If there are multiple user accounts, you will have to change them one by one and repeat the process for each account. Write down the passwords and remember that they're case sensitive, so check your Caps Lock key. You can also opt to leave the password field blank, meaning you don't enter anything in the field when it appears.

Quit the Password Utility and then quit the installer. You will be prompted to make one of three choices here, so select 'Restart' at this point. As soon as the MacBook reboots, hold down the track-pad button (or mouse button) to force the computer to eject the disc upon startup.

Open the Keychain utility (found in Applications>Utilities) to determine if there are any other passwords that you need to know and/or change. By knowing the administrator password, you can access every password stored in the Keychain. To learn the passwords of these items, simply click on the item in the list of the Keychain. You will be prompted to enter the administrator password (as created in Step 4) and clicking on 'Allow.'

How to Access an iMac Camera Remotely
Download and install a remote-viewing program on the iMac. The LogMeIn Ignition program is one suitable option (see Resources). Launch the remote-viewing program by double-clicking its icon inside of the 'Applications' folder that is inside the main hard drive.
Go to the remote-viewing program's website. Click on the 'Registration' button. Fill in the required registration information in the appropriate text fields. Enter a user name and password in the appropriate text fields. Press the 'Register' button to complete the registration process. Quit the Web browser.
Click once on the remote viewing program's window to make it active. Select 'Registration' from the 'File' drop-down menu. Enter the user name and password you had created at the Web page earlier into the text fields of the window that appears. Press the 'OK' button to exit the window.
Click the 'Sleep/Wake' button at the top of the Apple device, for example, an iPad, that will view the iMac's camera remotely. Swipe the slider on the screen to go to the Home menu. Tap the 'App Store' icon to launch the program.
Tap the 'Search' icon to bring up a text field. Enter the name of the remote viewing program that is installed on the iMac in the text field using the onscreen keyboard. Tap the remote viewing program's name when it appears in a column beneath the text field.
Tap the 'Purchase' or 'Trial' button to download the remote viewing program's application -- you may be asked to enter a password into a text field first.
Tap the remote-viewing program's app to launch it. Enter the registration information in the same manner as you did at the remote viewing program's Web page -- including your user name and password.
Tap the 'Server' icon on the remote viewing program's screen. Select the name of your iMac from the list of choices presented.
Enter your user name and password in the appropriate text fields on the screen. Tap the 'Save User name/Password' check-box on the screen. Tap the 'Go' or 'Start' button on the screen.
Turn the Apple device horizontal. Wait for a representation of the iMac's desktop to appear on the screen. Move the onscreen mouse pointer with your finger to the iMac's hard drive. Double-tap the hard drive to open its window. Repeat this action with the 'Applications' folder inside of the window.
Scroll down inside the 'Applications' folder until you come to the Photo Booth program that is included with the iMac. Double-tap the program to launch it and access the iMac's video camera.
