How to Do Plus and Minus on a Mac
Check to see if you have the ± symbol on your Mac keyboard. Some Macbooks released in 2009 or later have the symbol on the keyboard above the 'TAB' key. Press 'Shift'+'§' to produce the '±' symbol. If you do not have this key, you can use the universal method.
Hold 'Shift' and then hold 'ALT' (Option).
Press the equals sign (=) key. The three-key combination will insert the ± symbol.

How to Delete Multiple Messages in AOL Mail
Log into your AOL Mail account (see Resources).
Press and hold the 'Ctrl' key, and click all the emails you want to delete if you want to remove non-consecutive emails. If you want to delete consecutive emails, press and hold the 'Shift' key and click the first email you want to delete. Hold the 'Shift' key again and click the last email you want to delete. This selects all the emails between the first and last email you selected.
Click the 'Delete' button and then click 'OK' to confirm your selection.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you want to delete multiple emails from the 'Saved on AOL' and 'Saved on My PC' folders.
Click the 'Mail' menu and click 'Recently Deleted Mail' if you want to clear multiple emails from the 'Recently Deleted' folder.
Press and hold the 'Ctrl' key and click all the emails you want to delete if you want to remove non-consecutive emails. If you want to delete consecutive emails, press and hold the 'Shift' key and click the first email you want to delete. Hold the 'Shift' key again and click the last email you want to delete. This selects all the emails between the first and last email you selected.
Click the 'Permanently Delete' button.

How to Crop Something From the Web on MacBook
Open a Web browser, then go to the website with the element that you want to crop.
Open the 'Grab' utility in the Utilities folder.
Press Command, Shift and A simultaneously on the keyboard.
Drag the cursor over the area of the Web browser to crop it into an image. When the mouse button is released, the selection from the Web has been cropped.
Press Command and S simultaneously to save the image to a file. After it is saved, it can be further manipulated with other software, or sent in an email.

How to Take a Snapshot on Skype With a Mac (5 Steps)
Click on the Skype window that you want to take a snapshot of to make sure it is fully visible at the front of your screen.
Hold down the Command and Shift keys on your Mac keyboard, and press the '4' key. Your mouse cursor should now appear as a crosshair icon on your screen.
Press the space bar on your keyboard, and the crosshair icon will change to an icon that represents a camera.
Hover over the Skype window that you want to take a snapshot of, and it will be highlighted in blue.
Left click your mouse, or click your trackpad button to take the snapshot. The snapshot of your selected Skype window will appear as a JPEG file on your desktop.

How to Use the Mac Finder for a Quick Slideshow
Launch a Finder window on your Apple Macintosh Computer by clicking on the Finder icon in your Dock.
Navigate to the images you want to preview as a slideshow in your Mac's Finder.
Select all the images you want to view as a slideshow by holding down the Shift or the Command key while you click.
Right-click or Control-click to bring up the Action menu (also called a contextual menu).
Select 'Quick Look X Items' in Mac OSX Leopard (version 10.5), where 'X' is the number of items you selected. In Mac OSX Tiger (version 10.4), select 'Slideshow.' This will bring up a slideshow window where you can scroll through your images like any other slideshow.
Click the 'Play' button (arrow facing right) to play your slideshow automatically or use the right or left arrows to flip through your images manually.
Click the 'Index Sheet' button to tile all the images on your screen. You can click through to whichever image you want to view.
Click the 'Full Screen' button to make your slideshow take up your entire screen.
Click on the 'Add to iPhoto' button to add the current image of the slideshow to iPhoto quickly.
