How to Enable Wi
Access the Wi-Fi setting on your iPad. From the home screen, tap the Settings icon and then Wi-Fi.
Enable Wi-Fi. Use the slider to turn Wi-Fi on. Wait for the available networks to appear below.
Choose a network with which to connect. Wi-Fi is enabled. You can choose a network on this screen to connect to whenever you want to get online and there's a network in range. You might need to enter a code or security key if the network is secured. Just tap the network to connect.

How to Turn on a Mac Camera for Skype
Open Skype.
Click on the 'Skype' menu tab at the top of the screen once the program opens.
Click 'Preferences.'
Click on the 'Video' option.
Check the box next to 'Enable Skype Video.'
Click on the box next to the 'Camera' option. Click 'Built-in iSight' to enable the Mac's camera in Skype.
Check the box next to 'Start my video automatically' under the heading labeled 'When I am in a call.' Close the Preferences window when finished.

How to Open a Port on a MacBook
Click 'System Preferences' from the Dock and select the 'Sharing' icon.
Check each box to enable sharing for the type of content you want to share. For example, check the 'File Sharing' box to enable File Sharing.
Select the 'All Users' radio button to allow access to anybody. Select 'Only These Users' to allow access to only the listed users. If you want to add users, click the '+' button, select a user or group from the Users & Groups list and click 'Select.'

How to Print Remotely From a MacBook Air
Connect your Wi-Fi printer to the network by entering your network name and password through the printer's menu. To use printer sharing, connect a printer without Wi-Fi to another Mac. You will need to enable sharing before the printer can be discovered by the MacBook Air.
Enable sharing of the networked printer on the computer it is connected to by clicking the Apple menu, then 'System Preferences' then 'Printer & Fax.' Click on the printer from the list and select 'Share this printer.'
Navigate to the 'Printer & Fax' menu on your MacBook Air. Click 'Add' to set up a printer. Click 'Default' to search for the Wi-Fi or shared printer. Select the printer and click 'Add.' Now when you print something, you can choose the printer from the drop-down menu of the prompt.

Select 'General.' Tap 'Lock Rotation' to enable the lock for the slide switch. Close the menu screen.

Download the iTunes app 'Remote' to your iPad from the iTunes Music Store.
Launch iTunes on the PC that you want to play music from.
Enable Home Sharing by clicking 'Advanced' and 'Enable Home Sharing' in the pull-down menu at the top of the iTunes window.
Launch the 'Remote' app on your iPad.

How to Reset the Sync History
Open a new 'Finder' window by clicking on the 'Dock' icon.
Go to the 'Applications' section of your Mac hard drive.
Double-click on the 'iSync' icon.
Go to 'iSync' in the menu bar at the top of the screen and select 'Preferences.'
Make sure the 'Enable syncing on this computer' option is checked.
Click on the 'Reset Sync History' button at the bottom of the preferences window. Then confirm your decision to reset your computer's sync history when the dialog box opens. All sync data on your computer will now be erased, and devices and services will begin new initial syncs.
