How to Disable Top Sites in Safari (3 Steps)
Launch Safari. By default, the Top Sites screen is displayed. Hover the cursor over any website thumbnail you never want to be shown. Click the 'X' that appears in the corner to delete it from Top sites.
Click the 'Safari' menu and choose 'Preferences.'
Click the 'General' tab, then click the 'New Windows Open With' menu and change it from 'Top Sites' to any other option, like 'Home Page' or 'Empty Page.' This will stop Safari from displaying your top sites when you launch the browser or open a new tab.

How to Delete Apple Subscribed Calendars
Open iCal on your Apple computer. It will be in the Dock or in the Applications folder.
Highlight the subscribed calendar you would like to delete from the list of calendars on the left side of the iCal window.
Press the “Delete” button on your keyboard. A window will open asking if you are sure you want to delete the calendar. You can also choose 'Delete' from the 'Edit' menu in the iCal menu bar
Click “Delete.”

How to Delete iPad Apps From iTunes
Launch 'iTunes' on your computer. Your screen will present you with an iTunes navigation sidebar on the left and a main pane on the right.
Click on 'Apps' listed under 'Library' toward the top of the sidebar. The main pane will then showcase all of the apps you have downloaded.
Select the app or apps you want to delete. Click to select a single app, or press 'Ctrl' and click to choose multiple apps.
Press 'Delete' on your keyboard, or right-click on a highlighted app and choose 'Delete.'
Select 'Remove' when iTunes asks you to confirm your intentions in the first pop-up dialog box.
Choose 'Move to Trash' or 'Move to Recycle Bin' in the second pop-up dialog box if you are sure that you will never need or use the unwanted app again. The app will be moved accordingly and completely erased from your computer the next time you empty the trash.
Click 'Keep Files' instead in the second dialog box for the option to recover a deleted app later on. ITunes will transfer the app into a 'Mobile Applications' folder on your computer, where it will stay unless or until you drag it back into your iTunes window.
Click on 'Apps' listed under 'Library' in the sidebar. Browse through your library to confirm that the unwanted apps no longer appear within it.

How to Delete a Contact on a Mac
Open the Contacts application by clicking on the Dock icon.
Select the contact card you want to delete by clicking on the name of a business or person.
Click 'Edit' in the menu bar at the top of the screen and select the 'Delete Card' option. A drop-down window opens asking you to confirm your decision.
Click 'Delete' in the confirmation window to permanently delete the contact from your Contacts application.

How to Delete Favorites on a Mac
Click the icon for your Finder from your dock. Click 'All My Files' from the displayed sidebar to open your Finder window.
Select the type of favorite you want to delete. For example, if you no longer need immediate access to a document, select 'Documents' from the left sidebar under 'Favorites.'
Highlight the link and press the 'Delete' key.
Remove an item from the listing of types of favorites in the sidebar by pressing the 'Command' key and dragging the item out of the sidebar.

How to Delete Favorites in the Facebook App for iPhone
Open the Facebook app on your iPhone.
Tap the 'Facebook' logo to get to the app's home screen.
Press a finger down on the favorite that you want to delete. Hold it down for approximately three seconds, until the favorite starts to wiggle.
Tap the X in the corner of the favorite's thumbnail icon to delete that favorite from your Facebook home screen.
Press the Home button to stop the rest of your favorites from wiggling.

How to Rename Albums in My iPad Photos (6 Steps)
Locate the main photo folder that you have synced with the iPad device on the computer's hard drive. The name and location of this folder will vary between users. Once you have located the main folder, double-click on the folder to view the photo album folders stored inside.
Click on one of the photo album folders to highlight it. Click the name of the photo album folder to place the mouse cursor in the folder's name edit box. Press the 'Delete' key to delete the current folder's title.
Enter a new name for the photo album folder in the space provided. When you are finished, press the 'Enter' key to save the changes.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for any other photo album folders that you want to rename.
Connect the iPad to the computer via the USB connection cable that came with the device and double-click the iTunes application icon to launch the application.
Click on the iPad device beneath the 'Devices' heading in the iTunes application window. Click the 'Sync' button to sync the new photo album names with the device. After the syncing process is finished, the albums will appear on the iPad with their new names.

How to Delete Apps From a MacBook Pro (6 Steps)
Click the 'Finder' icon in the Dock. The icon looks like a blue, smiling face.
Click the 'Applications' folder on the left side of the window.
Scroll through the list of applications and select the one you want to delete.
Drag the application's icon or folder into the Trash folder in the Dock or the desktop. Click and drag as many applications as you need to delete into the Trash folder.
Press the 'Control' key while simultaneously clicking on the 'Trash' icon.
Click 'Empty Trash' from the pop-up menu. Click 'Yes' on the pop-up window to confirm you want to delete the contents of the Trash folder. The applications are deleted from your MacBook Pro.
