How to Copy DVDs in a MacBook (6 Steps)
Insert the DVD you want to copy in your MacBook's optical drive.
Click on the 'Go' menu in the finder and highlight 'Utilities.' Double-click on 'Disk Utility.'
Select the DVD drive from the menu on the left of the screen. Go to the 'File' menu, highlight 'New' and select 'Disk Image from [your DVD].'
Enter a save name for the disk image and select a location for it. Set 'Image Format' to 'DVD/CD Master.' Press 'Save.'
Eject the DVD after the disk image appears in the menu on the left side of the window. Insert a blank DVD.
Right-click on the disk image you made in Step 4 and select 'Burn [Your DVD].' Click 'Burn' in the pop-up window.
