How to Paste Text in Email on an iPad (4 Steps)

Tap the Mail app icon on the home screen.
Tap the 'Compose New' button in the top right to create a new email. If you have a draft you are already composing, tap 'Drafts' in the left side bar and select the draft you want to paste text to.
Hold your finger against the point at which you want to insert the copied text and release your finger from the screen after two seconds. The clipboard dialog appears at the insertion point.
Tap 'Paste' in the clipboard dialog to insert the text you have copied to your iPad's clipboard.
