How to Change BIOS
Open the 'Apple' menu and click 'System Preferences.'
Click the 'Startup Disk' icon in the 'System' section.
Click the system you want to use. To start Windows by default, click the 'Windows on BOOTCAMP' option. To start OS X by default, click 'Mac OS X.' Click 'Restart' to restart in Windows, or close the 'System Preferences' Window.

How to Boot Into Windows Using Boot Camp
Log on to your computer with an account that has administrative privileges.
Open 'System Preferences' by clicking on the dock icon.
Go to the 'Startup Disk' control panel under the 'System' category.
Select your Windows partition from the control panel window.
Click the 'Restart' button, then confirm your decision by clicking 'Restart' again. Your computer will restart and will automatically boot into your Windows partition.

How to Update the Boot Partition in a Mac (5 Steps)
Log in to your Mac computer with an account that has administrative privileges.
Click on the 'System Preferences' icon in the dock at the bottom of the desktop.
Navigate to the 'Startup Disk' control panel underneath the 'System' heading. The control panel will display a list of the boot partitions available on your primary hard drive.
Click on the name or icon of the boot partition you want to use.
Press the 'Restart' button and then click 'Restart' again to confirm your decision to update the boot partition settings. When the computer restarts, it will boot to the partition you just selected.

How to Restart a Mac in Target Disk Mode
Log on to your computer with an administrator account.
Open System Preferences by clicking on the icon in the dock.
Go to the 'Startup Disk' control panel under the 'System' category.
Click on the 'Target Disk Mode' button and click 'Restart' to confirm your decision.
Connect your computer to another computer with a Firewire cable. When your computer restarts, it will enter target disk mode and will appear as an external hard drive on the second computer.
