How to Right Click with an Apple Computer (4 Steps)
Place the pointer over the item that you want right click on. If you want to change the desktop background, place the pointer anywhere on the desktop image that's currently set. If you are trying to select a folder or drive, place the pointer directly on top of the folder or drive.
Look on the keyboard in the lower left corner for the control key. It maybe labeled 'Ctrl.' In basic use of the Macintosh, it's unlikely that you've ever had to use that key, so don't be frightened of it.
Hold down the 'Ctrl' key on the keyboard. Press and hold it without letting go.
Click the mouse button once and a menu will appear. Depending on what was clicked, you will get a different menu. Release the 'Ctrl' key and select the menu item you want and click the mouse again. The right click is now complete.
