How to Make a MacBook Not Shareable
Log in to your MacBook using an administrator account.
Click the 'Apple' logo from the top menu and select 'System Preferences' from the drop-down menu. The System Preferences window launches.
Click 'View' and 'Sharing.' The Sharing window launches.
Click 'File Sharing: Off' and click 'OK.'
