How to Jailbreak the iPad

Back up the iPad via iTunes to ensure that critical data and settings on the iPad are preserved.
Download the jailbreak software from Spirit via the link in References below.
Quit iTunes on the computer.
Launch the downloaded Spirit jailbreak software and connect the iPad to the computer (if not still connected).
Click on the 'Jailbreak' icon that is now clickable (on the computer) after connecting the iPad. The jailbreak process will begin automatically and will finish after it restarts the device.
